The new full length album ‘Viens Avec Moi Dans Le Vide‘ has been released:

Betontoon presents VIENS AVEC MOI DANS LE VIDE, the new record by Machinist with
contributions by Elleke Bosma and Sven Schlijper. Featuring five tracks, this record touches on ambient and drones, besides subtle melodic patterns that are more prominent than with previous Machinist releases. VIENS AVEC MOI DANS LE VIDE opens up the auditory point of view of the listener at an open and wide panoramic vista of emotions with a sharp focus on the horizon.

Substituting the mediation of dark claustrophobic confinement in massive ‚Innenraum‘-like shades of black presented on BlackBlock, VIENS AVEC MOI DANS LE VIDE gives way to spatiality. Just as one can be struck in awe vis-a-vis a monumental space and being confronted with a sense of personal insignificance and oppression; one can also experience this space as in themselves small and insignificant marks upon the grandiose canvas of space at large. Thus invoking awareness and appreciation of the space that is being created both tactile and intangible. VIENS AVEC MOI DANS LE VIDE slowly ushers the listener out of the cacophony of everyday rumble by means of abstract sounds with melody and spoken word to open a void. A mode of being which is the central point and passionate key to VIENS AVEC MOI DANS LE VIDE: the void as the ultimate condition for substance.

The album comes with a jewelcase with translucent paper in a handmade fabric sleeve.
